Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia is  pleased to announce the International Hospitality and Tourism Conference 2012. The hospitality and tourism stream of this conference aims to examine “up-and-coming” paradigms and innovative practices within the broader hospitality and tourism realm. This conference intend to foster and explore the issues of tourism, hospitality, foodservice, culinary arts and gastronomy research and professionalism in the globe. We are seeking papers that employ research methods and/or engage theoretically with the subject area.

The objective of this conference is to present work that is transformative and that hold serious intellectual discourse. As hospitality academia and industry practitioners, it is essential that we support our field in advancing mindsets, knowledge and skills to adapt and create innovations in various ways. Therefore, this conference stream is to present a new outlook for future research, theoretical revelation and innovation.

Any research work specifically oriented to other areas of the Hospitality and Tourism will be accepted for presentation if considered of relevance for the field in question throughout the blind refereeing process upheld.

The proceeding will be published by Taylor & Francis.

Call for papers

Delegates are invited to present their research papers under the broad discipline of sociology, anthropology, economic, management and other relevant disciplines, where its application is in the sectors of culinary, hospitality, tourism, events and other tourism related sectors.
