About the 3rd HTC2019

The Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia is proud to announce the Hospitality and Tourism Conference (HTC) 2019 in the Historical City of Malacca with the theme “Sustainability, Safety and Security (3S): Crunch Time Ahead for Hospitality, Tourism, and Travel Industry”.

The 3S are at the forefront globally in recent years but for all the wrong reasons. It is about time to deepen our understanding on their impacts to the industry. This conference will provide insights in both foundational and philosophical reflections on the principles and conceptualization of the theme.

The stage is set for academicians, industry practitioners and the government to share and discuss ideas, to reflect on experiences and new improved strategies in response to the challenging time ahead.
