Submission Guidelines

Paper Template

Manuscript Formatting

Regular articles should normally have between 6000 and 15000 words. The paper must include an introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion. The proposed structure is not compulsory and may vary depending on the specific paper.

Submission of a manuscript implies:

  1. That the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else;

  2. That its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out.

  3. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

  4. The authors are responsible for clarifying the copyrights of the various information contained in the articles.  â€‹

 

Title Page

The title page should include:

  1. A concise and informative title

  2. The first name(s) and last name (s) of the author(s)

  3. The affiliation(s) (Department, Faculty, University) and address(es) of the author(s)

  4. The e-mail addresses and telephone/fax of the (corresponding) author(s)

  5. Abstract - Please provide an abstract of 150 to 200 words. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references.

  6. Keywords - Please provide 5 keywords that can be used for indexing purposes.

Text Formatting

  1. Manuscripts should be submitted in Word.

  2. Use a normal, plain font (e.g., 12-point Calibri) for text.

  3. Use italics for emphasis.

  4. Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages.

  5. Do not use field functions.

  6. Use tab stops or other commands for indents, not the space bar.

  7. Use the table function, not spreadsheets, to make tables.

  8. Use the equation editor or MathType for equations.

  9. Save your file in doc format (Word 2003 or 2010) or doc format (older Word versions).

  10. File format settings; top 2,2 cm; bottom 2,2 cm; left 1,8 cm; right 1,8 cm; gutter 0 cm; gutter position left; portrait; A4 (21 cm/29,7 cm).

  11. All tables are to be numbered using Arabic numerals.

  12. Tables should always be cited in text in consecutive numerical order.

  13. For each table, please supply a table caption (title) explaining the components of the table.


Headings
Please do not use the decimal system of headings. 

 

Abbreviations
Abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter.


Acknowledgements
Acknowledgements of people, grants, funds, etc. should be placed in a separate section (end of the document) before the reference list. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.


References
Citation - Cite references in the text by name and year in parentheses. Some examples:

  1. Negotiation research spans many disciplines (Jackson, 1990).

  2. This result was later contradicted by Friedman and Georgescu (1996).

  3. This effect has been widely studied (Vasilescu 1991; Cernat et al. 1995; Briciu and Cosma 1998; Oprea et al. 1993).
