From the triumph of the past five conferences in Kuala Lumpur (1st), Penang (2nd), Indonesia (3rd), Kuala Lumpur (4th) and Selangor (5th), the 6th IHTC2022 continues to initiate the need for both, industry and academia in revitalising and building sustainable resilience for the tourism industry. #ihtc2022

We will be celebrating International Mountain Day in conjunction with IHTC2022. The International Mountain Day is celebrated annually on 11 December to create awareness about the importance of mountains to life, to highlight the opportunities and constraints in mountain development, and to build alliances that will bring positive change to mountain peoples and environments around the world. Women move mountains is the theme of this year's International Mountain Day on 11 December 2022. This year celebration is an opportunity raise awareness about the need to empower mountain women so they can participate more effectively in decision-making processes and have more control over productive resources. #MountainsMatter

The International Hospitality and Tourism Conference is an academic and professional (industry) event that advances the discourse on hospitality and tourism for sustainable development. The IHTC 2022 conference focus on a broad range of topics related to ASEAN hospitality, tourism and gastronomy management realm. However, any related research works within the tourism and hospitality areas will be accepted for presentation and will be considered through the blind refereeing process.
